Oriental Studies, specialization on International Relations (Master Degree in Polish)
Oriental specialization is addressed to people who want to gain knowledge related to two regions: East Asia and the Middle East and North Africa. Specialization prepares for analyzing social, economic and political problems of two listed areas, describes the relations between regional powers and their global interests and focuses on deepened reflection on culture, religion and traditions related to the functioning of Asian societies. An integral part of the program are language courses giving research tool for analyzing oriental problems (analysis of documents and literature) as well as instrumnet of efficient communication in Arabic, Chinese and Japanese world. The graduate has knowledge on various aspects of internal and international politics of the states of the Middle East and East Asia regions which also covers issues of multiculturalism, functioning of nations and ethnic groups in this part of the world.
